I invite you to join me for a Heart Healing Cacao Gathering. We will take a moment to relax, open our hearts and minds, and enjoy the magical elixir of Goddess Cacao. This ancient plant medicine bridges the gap between Heart and Spirit, allowing for greater healing. We will connect with the Spirit of Cacao through guided meditation, open our hearts to be healed, inspired, and transformed. We will connect to our breathe, as we breathe in the scent of the sacred plant and release that which holds our heart from healing, our mind from relaxing and our spirit from being in real soul alignment. This ancient act of drinking cacao to open our heart can be personalized for any heart led event. I will happily work with you to create a magical event for your special day, group, or retreat! I've been working with this elixir from the goddess for over eleven years. It has taught me so much about myself and opened me up to so much more. I now walk with greater strength, love, joy, and compassion, and a deeper sense of empathy for others.

What is Cacao Used For?
Pure cacao is used as a heart opening medicine for people to safely experience awakening, inner healing and receive guidance. Before a ceremony, intentions are set and the cacao is slowly sipped, leading people into a euphoric state where heavy energy is released and mulched by the Earth and all partakers can truly connect with themselves and each other. In my experience, cacao is absolutely a gateway to transformation.
The pure ceremonial cacao is not made with processed cocoa like you would find in the grocery store. It is made from 100% hand processed cacao beans, which still have the naturally healthy fat of cacao butter. Cacao butter is rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, which could have a positive effect on immune function, have anti-inflammatory effects and support heart health. Pure cacao does not taste like hot chocolate; ceremonial cacao recipes vary but generally speaking, your cup would contain ground raw cacao, water or plant milk, a pinch of chili or cayenne pepper, optional sweetener and optional grounding spices.

IN THE MAYAN TRADITION IT IS BELIEVED THAT THERE ARE NOT 4 BUT 5 ELEMENTS.
In our earthly existence, the four elements, Fire, Earth, Air & Water, sustain life.
But the Mayans believe in an intrinsic fifth element - the Spirit, present throughout the universe.
Cacao plays a pivotal role in this narrative. According to the creation story, humans were made from corn, with its four colors symbolizing both human diversity & the spectrum of skin tones. However, there was a concern that humans might lose sight of life's true essence, forget to recognize the spirit in all things & follow the destructive path of past civilizations.
To ensure our empathy & that the inner spirit remained awakened, 'kakaw' was bestowed upon us as a sacred elixir.
